Colac Otway Shire Climate Action Team is a group of concerned citizens from across the Colac Otway region who are activists for action on climate change and biodiversity. 140 ordinary volunteer citizens from many backgrounds committed to advocating for and initiating climate action with the local council and community. The group is not-for-profit, politically unaffiliated, and supported by donations and grants. Their purpose is to encourage, support and facilitate the transition away from the fossil-fuel based status quo, and enhance biodiversity protection in the Colac Otway Shire, in pursuit of a liveable environment into the future.
