Friends of Gippsland Lakes is a not-for-profit independent group that is dedicated to preserving the Lakes in their best condition for future generations.
They believe in a positive and co-operative approach, and decision making based on evidential data and science. They work with Traditional Owners and the various Government agencies and other conservation groups that are stakeholders in the Lakes future, to effect changes in attitudes and help balance the needs of various interested parties.
