The South Hobart Resilience Fair occurred in November 2024, and was an opportunity for the community of South Hobart to come together and discuss climate resilience, featuring sessions on: the science of resilience, sparking conversations about bushfire, and activating neighbourhoods. It also featured a huge seed swap, NITA Education sharing dreaming stories and traditional dance and clay animal creation, a collaborative community mosaic creation, interactive drum and junk loop jam sessions, nature play and bushcraft activities, and information stalls on preparing for disasters, food and native gardening and urban sustainability.
