The Wararack is a coalition formed to regenerate Mount Alexander Shire. Their goal is to collectively build resilience, equity and care for Country into their systems and culture, while transitioning their shire to zero net emissions. Valuing First Nations knowledge and leadership, listening to and caring for their unique natural environment and ensuring their processes leave no one behind, are foundational values the Mount Alexander Shire community expressed in 2019 – when they urged local council to act immediately and decisively on climate.
